Gokyo Valley trek is one of the most demanding trek in Nepal which has gained a lot of popularity in recent years as an alternative trek to Everest Base Camp. It is a traditional trek which offers magnificient views of mountain peaks like Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse & Makalu from an altitude of 8000m. The main highlights of Gokyo Valley trek are considered to be Gokyo ri & Gokyo lakes. The Gokyo lakes are among the highest freshwater lakes in the World which is comprised of six different Lakes. The four out of six lakes is situated on the west border of Ngozumpa which is the largest glacier in Nepal. Gokyo Valley trek is not only popular for majestic views of Himalayas but also famous for different ecological flora & faunas.

features mountains & glaciers with the diverse landscapes & high peaks
dominating the valley. You kick off the
trek with a flight to Lukla followed by a short trek to Phakding. This is a

Everest Base Camp trek & also a great chance to explore rich Sherpa
culture. The best time to trek to Gokyo Valley is Autumn season which is from
September to November or Spring season which is from March to May. Any person
with average fitness level can complete this trek as the trek is considered as
medium level trek. You are likely to walk 5 to 6 hours each day during the
